I am Cyndie, the creator of Chalk One Up for the Teacher and I’m so glad that you’re here!

For years I have been all about brains and beauty in the classroom. What does that mean? The brains part is all about growing all students as creative thinkers through enrichment, outside-the-box activities, and productive struggle. The beauty part includes my love of beautiful classrooms. Since the day that I walked into my very first classroom, I have wanted to create warm, inviting environments for my students.
